Well I finally got my lift and tires put on. This was a true journey. From items missing or broken on the lift (bought used and will never do that again), to the installer (doing the lift on the side) telling me I could not stay while he had my truck, so I finally talked a friend of mine that owns a different shop down on their labor price, to being told the studs on the strut spacers where stripped, and finally being told the tires will not fit. With new parts and the install completed, I can confirm 305/70R18's with stock wheels fit with a 3" lift and 1.5" wheels spacers. Here are some pics I took today after getting the alignment. As a little icing, I also installed my new Morimoto LED tail lights last night when I got the truck back home. Kicker key amp and 10" sub going in tomorrow.

Just came across those tires in a search the other day, they are very light for their size at 62lbs if I remember right. Looks sharp 👍

yes, they are light and not a lot of noise. Thank you! It was not a fun trip getting it to this point, but definitely happy with the results.

Thank you. I do have some minor rubbing and will be taking care of that today. A small area on the front and rear crash bars, but small enough I think I can loosen them and move them back just enough to clear.

It’d be nice to get a traveling Porta-power for the forum where guys can keep passing it along after they use it. It would be a heavy item to ship but might cost less still vs the $150 or so to buy one.

Is this the tool I’ve read about that will spread the front and rear crash bars so they don’t need to be removed?

Yea it’s basically a hydraulic jack with a hand pump and extensions. You can get a cheap one on Amazon or I got mine at harbor freight for $160, it’s less if your a member there.

What never ceases to amaze me is how well I adapt to changes in wheel sizing. I started with 13's, graduated to 14's, then went to 15's, then 17's, then 19's, then 20's. Now I sit at 22's. I still like the look of the 20's better, but I feel certain I will never notice the difference.

The manufacturers have done a great job of handling the unsprung weight.

Looks sweet! I want to get some 35s on my tremor with a level and fox 2.0s all the way around. How much was your fuel economy hit? do you have the 5.0 or the ecobust?
