That's crazy...

Makes me wonder how much of this could be avoided if Ford went back to manufacturing the majority of their own parts internally instead of relying on third party overseas vendors.

Visible from space is reaching a bit when you zoom that far in but I get it lol

Maybe the title of the thread should state F series and not F150. I could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain it’s only super duty’s there

A person walking on the street is visible from space ....to a telescope like is being used here.

Ford just recently days they had 40,000+ unfinished vehicles waiting for parts. (I think I see the one I ordered...)

Funny enough, when looking for this vid again there was a news story about this same location filling up a year before.

That would eat into their profilts because they would have to pay livable American wages.

It isn't just overseas vendors and if you think getting what you need from overseas is a challenge, it's nothing compared to trying to get enough materials and workers to do it in the US. Auto companies are revered by the press as the ultimate in engineering capabilities but beyond design and basically bolting stuff together they are not where most of the real high tech capability exists.

Let tire specialists make tires and seat specialists make seats. The automotive OEMs learned long ago that trying to do everything is a path to mediocrity.
