Will you guys who ordered a tremor, post when you get a vin assigned? It’s my first time ordering a truck and I’m sort of surprised at the lack of confirmation. My dealer showed me a copy of the build sheet and I should’ve requested a copy of it too in hindsight, but they say the order is in the system and that’s about it. I’m kind of surprised you don’t at least get an email or something official from Ford saying you have an order in.

The Tremor ordering process is no different than the rest of our F150's.
Once the VIN has been assigned that means it's been picked up for scheduling by Ford.
From there, depending on options, the great wait begins.

Unfortunately the only way for dealerships to track the order status is to log into a portal and check.
They don't have an automated notification themselves either.
So if you want more information on your build you need to hound your dealer.

Specific milestones are...
1) VIN Assigned
2) Production Scheduled
3) Window sticker available
4) Production completed
5) Shipped
6) Delivered

Awesome, thanks for the info and process detail. I guess I was just slightly surprised that after you Place the initial order, There’s no real confirmation while you await the vin number. My big curiosity is if we start getting VINs assigned in the next few weeks, and if Ford is still planning to start building these in July. I know everyone else has been plagued by delays, but will they treat the tremor and raptor as a different line almost and get them going right away?

If I had to guess? Most likely not. You're going to have to wait like everyone else.
The Tremor is nothing more than an offroad upfitted F-150.
The Raptor is a slightly different story, but the shared components from a computer standpoint are still where the delays are.
Why should those vehicles be given priority over those who have had orders in for almost a year now?

I like the blacked out tail lights. They look better than my Lariat. I will probably look to swap them out next year when they become available.

Yea totally get your point there. I haven’t really paid attention much but other than the chip shortage, is there a smoking gun to the timeframe? I have been reading through some forums here since I placed my order last week and it seems like some people wait forever while others have gotten lucky and only waited a few months.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or does this Tremor have less of a rake on it than the Velocity Blue one we saw a while back?

Noticed that on the first pic but hard to tell since it still looks very pronounced on the rest of the pics.
