Avalanche Grey has long been a favorite Ford color of mine so I wanted to see how it compares to the new Space White for 2021. I just so happened to drive past a dealer with a 2017 Avalanche Grey Raptor out front and stopped in got them to line them up to compare
The two colors are very similar from a distance. The main difference being Space Grey has more of a blue undertone where Avalanche Grey shows more tan.
It’s a rainy day here in Tulsa so the blue really shows up in the photos, but in person the Space White actually looks more White than light blue and feels like a lighter shade of Avalanche.
Space White is definitely a nice Grey in person, but it’s color doesn’t photograph well which I think scares some people off.
If you like Avalanche Grey, it’s definitely worth seeing Space White in person.
Now if only I could find one with the 502a headlights and sport trim!
