Once the dealer gives me my VIN (expecting it soon...) is there a way I can get the window sticker?

Not till about the week of the build. You can look here and just put your zip code. Find your VIN and Click on details to open the next screen. You have a option to click on window stick and it will pull it up if it is available.

https://shop.ford.com/inventory/f15...alse&zipcode=35951&Radius=10&fromDetails=true
That's awesome! Presumably customer ordered trucks show up in search results there, not just dealer stock units? Seems like maybe I can find my VIN there before the dealer even notifies me. My config is pretty unique, not too many 4x2 Supercabs being ordered, so I bet I can spot it once it is up in that list.

Since window stickers are starting to show and will becoming available in larger numbers soon.

I thought this might be useful to some. I wanted one off a F150 which I have seen on but just haven't found it. If this is already posted somewhere, administrator please delete this thread.

I don't believe retail orders will show up on their inventory list for they are retail/pre-sold units. Inventory list are setup to show trucks available for sale.

At the beginning of a model year, stock orders are built first until OKTB status is achieved. Many dealers like mine will order retail/pre-sold orders as a stock order to speed up the delivery of those trucks.

After OKTB is achieved they won't do that anymore for that can actually slow down the order.

Searched for Platinum within 80 miles.
Got three hits. Notice at least one with interior work surface. One with spray in bed liner.

Does anyone know what TRD, Ramp, Bump, Camp are on the top right corner of the sticker? The only thing I'm showing on mine is R under Ramp. Currybob, it looks like most of yours are filled out. I think it has something to do with the shipping process. Which leads me to think yours may be coming before mine?

The AL above bump is for ship to Alabama. The other stuff I believe is for which storage yard and loading location for rail shipments but am not real sure.

If you are having spray bedliner that will slow it down some getting to shipping ramp. I didn't for I having it done locally.

The top left number DRB-XXXXXX, is that the build number for that plant? I'm looking at window stickers and the numbers are starting to go up quickly from the 1k's to the 4k' over a few days.

Yeah there is a sequence number that I never fully grasped. If you know how many trucks they are building per day, you can tell which shift and day yours will be built.

I don't know if that is the number for that though. I remember in the past, each shift, when up to full production, could build around 800 trucks. One for every 53 seconds.

I may try and find some old post that discussed that on the only site I use to use for that info. That is more than I can remember so many years later. Lol

Ok, you ask for it so here it is. No the DRB # is not the order the trucks are built.

The blend number pool for P552 (the F150) goes to 10,000 and then rolls. This is not plant specific, so blend numbers are assigned out of the same bank for DTP as KCAP. As a vehicle (VIN) is assigned to the build schedule, a blend number/rotation number is assigned. It is THIS order that the vehicles are built. When the truck is built, then the blend number/rotation number goes back into the pool. When they reach 9999, they start reissuing the blend numbers from the start (0001) again.

So, in a nutshell, blend/rotation numbers are a pool of reusable numbers assigned to vehicles that are used to determine order of build because vehicles are not built in VIN order.

With this truck, it had a blend date of February 4, 2015 (20150204) and a blend number of 5104. The 5104 is the sequence number for this truck as it was built going down the line.

Now they reset don't forget when it get to 9999 and go back to 0001. So it doesn't mean they have only built 5,104 trucks so far. It does mean they have built at least 5,104 trucks. You have to know how many times it has reset.

Now this is my window sticker. The date built Nov 12th and the sequence number was 5,715. So we know they have built at least 5,715 trucks. This counts KC and Dearborn.

There, clear as mud??

A blend number is nothing more than bank of numbers assigned in numerical order to a vehicle when it's scheduled. For the F150, it's ~10K numbers from 0001 to 9999 The trucks are built in order of blend number. 3456 is after 3455 and before 3457.
