Good find bro!

I still kinda wish we had the physical ones, nothing like some light reading.

Here's a couple of notes from the manual for people tracking their trucks and people who start refueling their hybrid truck and go in for a bite to eat.

Oil Consumption note:
You can drive high performance vehicles in such a way that may lead to higher oil consumption including extended time at high engine speeds, high loads, engine braking, hard cornering maneuvers, track and off-road usage. Under these conditions, oil consumption of approximately 1 quart per 500 miles (1 liter per 800 km) is possible. Check the engine oil level at every refueling and adjust to maintain proper levels to avoid engine damage.

Hybrid refueling note:
Complete the refueling process within 20 minutes. If 20 minutes elapses, press the button on the left side of the instrument panel again.Fuel pump nozzle automatic shut off could occur if you do not press the button on the left side instrument panel.

Not sure if they have the Coyote oil issues totally under control yet.
I did notice the the 2021 is using a heavier weight oil.
In my looking around, I also found that the supercharger equipped vehicles used either 5-40(?) or 10-40 as required for the forced induction.
Those that had oil consumption issues (normally aspirated) and changed to the heavier oil claimed that the oil usage all but completely went away.
Also claimed was the rattling on cold starts vanished as well.

I’m not in the habit of checking oil levels between changes as all the vehicles that I have do not use more than 1/2 qt between changes at 5000mi
One of my cars (66 ElCamino) has an old timey 1973ish 307 in it that has never been rebuilt.
Oil level is still full at the 5000m mark.
My 65 Ranchero has a 93ish 5.0HO and probably uses a bit less than a qt at oil change time.
Neither one of these cars are babied, but the Ranchero is driven with a LOT more spirit than the Elky. (Ranchero = 300hp, 3-1/2 pounds of car, skinny little tires, 4-gears and a clutch—-this car can party)

Oil usage in a new vehicle should be unacceptable in all but extreme duty vehicles.

Agree, cudo’s to Pipe for finding and posting posting.
I browsed through the owners manual, specifically for “Phone as Key” as the Quick Start Guide mentioned. I could not find it anywhere. I am thankful for the information we have, however, it seems this might be an early version. Just a feeling or hope, i guess as I feel there is missing or incomplete information.

Are you referring to the Ford App? I think its under the "Remote Start" section. It talks about starting the truck from the key fob or the app

We've had that in the Fordpass app for quite a while (my 2017 has it). There was discussion about a month ago about "phone as key" using the NFC so you tap to unlock the door. That would be a NEW feature.

No, there is a section in the quick start guide where it says you can have 3 remotes and 3 ”phone as Key”, it was not talking about the App

The odd thing about that is there is no other reference to it. It says you need the intelligent key to lock and unlock or to start the vehicle. If that is a feature, why is it not in the the online owner's manual? See third line from the bottom on the Lincoln Aviator Digital Owners Manual. It has it's own section.

I think it is likely that this is a preliminary version, and probably not fully complete.

I don't doubt it. I hope that the phone can be used as a key. That would be neat. Although I take the key out of my pocket only once a day to move it from one pair of jeans to another. I have, on occasion, gotten in the truck only to remember (because the seat is hugging the steering wheel) that the Mrs. drove my truck last. 'No Keys, No Problem' would be pretty sweet in those situations.

I have been on the Ford Owners Manual site a few times today and they are definitely up to something. You can't get anything to load, even for 2020. Updates could be coming very soon.

I found a pdf file for the paper manual. Here is how I found it...

Google: Fordowner.com/2021 f150 truck manual

Select: Owner Manuals - Ford Fleet

Fill out year, make, model on the form and then tap Submit

It will respond with an HTML file, and three different pdf files.

Owner's Manual Printing 1 (PDF) contains a pdf of a printed owners manual that you can download and view at your leisure.

Enjoy!!!
