Thanks for posting these! I'd say these pics make the seat center sections look as orange as I've seen in any of the photos / videos posted, and they still do not appear to be the burnt ornage of the current 2020 KR. It looks much more like a tan "rawhide" type color. Sure hope they have a KR in Dallas for the drive event so I can see them with my own eyes.

The picture of the seat controls on the bottom of the front seats may have divulged an additional detail - that the Max Recline Seats do not have the Action Motion Control Massage feature. The round control usually has upper and lower "buttons" on it that control the intensity or which section (the back or seat bottom) massage. This round control only has the FWD/AFT "Buttons" which is the lumbar adjustment.

It is possible the massage function is still present, and only controlled through the Sync 4 screen, but I believe in the current trucks the Sync screen is just a secondary way to control the massage function, and the seat control buttons also can be used to control the massage.

The stock photos on the "Build & Price" tool show the 4-way "button" for the seat controls, and the pictures are of the mutli contour massage seats and not the max recline seats, so I'm going to assume the Max Recline seats do not have massage.

All just guesses on my part, based on details in the photos. I also assume these photos are the antimatter blue truck that was displayed at the Rouge Factory speech, which had the chrome package, meaning it is a 601A KR, and should have massage seats standard, although this one has the optional max recline seats.

These are just my long ramblings, so sorry if no one else cares. My last reason for contemplating adding the Max Recline Seats was if they also included the massage function I might risk the delay and add them, but without massage, I think I'll just let it go and get the standard 600A seats.

Let’s see a Platinum with the same photos.

To each his or her own but I’m not a fan of brown and whatever that orange looking color that’s available for the KR.

My Lincoln only has massage function via sync, so I’d call it a toss up. I haven’t checked the build/configure.

Thanks, that's good to hear! Now if someone at Ford just knew for sure if they came with it I would probably add them.

Somewhere on this site I have seen a video where someone is demonstrating the Sync4 and shows you how the Active Motion massage is controlled through the touchpad. Not saying there are not manual seat controls, there could be, but definitely they have a touch screen component.

I presume its the same in 2020 by my 16 KR you have the controls on the seat and the option to go through the sync system for massage so @Roger350 you are correct. But building on that, my concern is the manual controls on the seat also adjust the multiple lumbar supports. I know there could be many combos of what our presumptions are but if lumbar support is removed for max recline that would be a big disappointment for me.

Can anyone confirm if this King Ranch was standard gasoline, or the PowerBoost model?

Saw the King Ranch in Hurst today, and the center sections of the seats do not look orange at all. I was very impressed with the feel and color of the leather.

Also tried out the Max Recline seats and really liked them. Both my wife and I felt they were much more comfortable than the Lariat seats our KR 600A would have come with otherwise. The Multi-Contour seats from the 601A and higher packages were also very comfortable, and I was thoroughly impressed with the active motion massage. There was nothing wrong with the Lariat seats, they just felt like normal automotive seats, nothing special. They'd be fine, but testing them back-to-back with the Max Recline they weren't as comfortable.

The "T" Cushion at the top of the shoulders on the Max Recline seats that several people complained looks funny actually adjusts in 3 positions moving forward to support your shoulders whether the seats are reclined or upright. I think they will support my shoulders much better on long drives, reducing shoulder and neck strain.
